Normal sudoku rules apply.
Digits in cages do not repeat, and sum to the total, if given.
Digits orthogonally adjacent to a cage may NOT be included in that cage.
The grid is partially covered in fog. Placing correct digits will clear the fog from surrounding cells, possibly revealing more clues.

I found this puzzle quite tough due to the unusual constraint used. Very fun to challenge the brain with a new and still quite straight forward rules. Thanks for the puzzle!

I hate this sudoku. I've been deciding for 2 hours. I wanted to quit, but I couldn't break away. Because it seemed easy. It was very difficult to rebuild the brain to see such unusual things.

Beautiful puzzle! I very much relate to sujoyku's comment (lovely username by the way). The deductions were satisfying and I too found scanning unusually difficult yet highly rewarding with this ruleset.

Thank you for this fun and interesting puzzle, Blobz! Somehow I found the scanning really tough. It's so unfamiliar to check the cage boundaries. :) But nevertheless the deductions felt very rewarding and every piece of logic was completely fair. Thank you for setting and sharing!

This was brilliant. Haven't encountered this ruleset before but it leads to a very unique and fresh kind of logic and solving experience that was very welcome
