Normal sudoku rules apply.
Digits in cages do not repeat and must sum to the given clue.
Each cage is either full of "oil" (even digits), full of "water" (odd digits), or a mix of both. In all cases, each "row" within a cage is of just one type (oil or water). Oil floats on water, so even digits will always be in rows above odd digits in mixed cages.

Solution code: Row 1 followed by row 2

Having the odd (orange) digits be blue water, and even (blue) digits be orange oil is super confusing lol.

Eine sehr schöne Idee, fiel mir aber ganz schön schwer. Macht viel Spaß, wenn man es einmal verinnerlicht hat. Vielleicht trau ich mich jetzt auch mal an die etwas schwierigeren Varianten ;-).

It feels like a well constructed puzzle, but my brain keeps mixing up the parity/color, seems this genre doesnt work well for me

"Above" can be double interpreted; does it mean "oil" are always higher digits in mixed cages or are they positionwise higher in the cage?

Above = positionwise.
