Searching for 'easy' puzzles on this site is just impossible. How is a puzzle where you don't even know what digits you are using possibly one star?

i think the concept "at least 2 of the {123} set in any 3 cell cage (*) " is critical here, but is "experts only" knowledge.
i think the need for colouring is critical here, and isn't really something a beginner uses.
that would make the puzzle level 2.
