The Neighbour’s Wooden Cube

(Eingestellt am 29. November 2025, 10:15 Uhr von Wiggel)

This is the second puzzle in my 'Neighbour Series'.

This puzzle was sitting half finished in by backlog for over a month.
Now, that I managed to find a good arrangement for the arrows, I can finally share it with you. Enjoy.

Solve on SudokuPad

Rules:

Place the digits 1 to 8 once each in every row, column and box of the grid and once each into the circles of the cube.
Reserved Neighbours: Digits in the grid may only be orthogonally adjacent, if they share an edge on the cube. This applies to any two adjacent digits, even in different boxes. (Eg. If R1C1 contained a 1, and R1C2 a 2, then 1 and 2 would need to be connected on the cube, for example in R10C12 and R12C12.)
Arrows: Digits along an arrow sum to the number in the attached circle. Cells outside the grid are empty and do not count towards that sum.

Lots of really nice logic for how minimal the setup is. This puzzle made me feel smart.

Great puzzle! There's some pretty interesting logic in this variant that's a lot of fun to work out. I hope to see more in the series!
