(Published on 8. July 2025, 19:40 by Will Power)

Normal Sudoku rules apply. ANTI-KING- Cells a chess king's move apart cannot be the same number. THERMOMETERS- Numbers on thermometers increase from the bulb end. ARROWS- Numbers on arrows sum to the number in the arrow's pill. The pill is read from top to bottom. RENBAN- Numbers on purple lines are each a set of non-repeating, consecutive numbers, in any order. KILLER CAGES- Numbers in cages sum to the number in the top left corner of the cage. KROPKI PAIRS- Numbers with a white dot between them are consecutive. Not all possible dots are shown.

Very enjoyable puzzle, Thanks for sharing!

Regarding the length-constrained stipulation, I suggest "Along each arrow, numbers sum to the number in the arrow's pill, read from top to bottom".

Oh, let me walk the ROYAL Mile that's Scotland's brave highway,
Where at one o'clock from the Castle Rock comes the greatest CALL each day;
And if six and eight can switch around and you just can't figure WHY;
Then you'll make your day if you look again and see the ROYAL RULE.

@VitP Sorry that the "Royal Mile' is not obvious to some of us outside Scotland. I had to look it up. Thanks for sharing some heritage. -Will Power

One twin has big brain, the other big body. Clearly a Nobel in Physics and a heavyweight champion.
Excellent as always.

could i be more obvious?

@VitP : Did you miss some of the rules? It all resolved with a single solution. You saw that it had an Anti-King restriction?

this puzzle is ROYALLY broken !!
there are multiple solutions.

LOL

U2654

@VitP Without U2654 or U265A, there is a second solution. Fortunately, the rules call it out. 8-) -Will Power

I think the rules should explicitly clarify that different branches of the arrow do not sum together.

@thebriskt While I appreciate the thought behind striving for perfect clarity, SudokuPad has a limited number of lines (or characters, I'm not sure which) that I must stay below in the rules. I was forced to pare down the rules to not crash SudokuPad while loading. I also see you have solved hundreds of puzzles, many of which are mine, and many of those also had multiple arrows on the same circle. Peace to you. -Will Power

One day I'll notice when the instructions *explicitly* tell me there's an anti-king rule BEFORE I get frustrated. Today was not that day lol. Great puzzle :)
