Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Laser light is emitted from the green arrow. It travels in a straight line unless it hits a 90° turning mirror (brown lines) or enters a fiber optic (thermometer) from the bulb in which it follows the fiber and then continues in the same direction it got spit out. The laser should not cross itself or a fiber optic (unless in entering the bulb). Place digits such that the laser light reaches the blue circle.
4's act as 90° turning mirrors which start in the bottom left and end in the top right of the cell
6's act as 90° turning mirrors which start in the bottom right and end in the top left of the cell
4's and 6's cannot be placed on existing mirrors. Also, while inside a fiber optic, 4's and 6's do not act as mirrors.
In between fibers, the laser path is a German whisper (adjacent digits must differ by at least 5).

As a physicist I can't not love this puzzle! Definitely a few tricky steps in the beginning but it turns out wonderfully smooth.
Also, the phrasing of how the laser may cross a fiber optic in entering a bulb left me a little unsure whether I had understood it correctly.

Very tricky to get started! Once you get going, though, it gets much easier. Kinda wish there was one more column to the left, so I could draw the laser coming into the puzzle :P
