Outside the grid you will find the names of three people, three locations, three weapons and three motives. Each person was at a location with a weapon and a motive, your goal is to deduce who the killer is, where they were, their weapon and their motive.
Each valid combination of person, location, weapon, and motive is marked by a low entropy digit (1, 2 or 3) in the grid. A 4-9 indicates that there is no connection between that person, location, weapon, and motive in that column and row.
Example: If there is a 1, 2 or 3 in R4C1 it shows that Alice had a gun. A 4-9 in R4C6 indicates that the gun was not in the foyer.
The low entropy rule applies across the grid, so the position of the low entropy digits in box 6 and box 8 are already decided as a gun is a gun (R4C7) and so on.
The victim's body has been hidden by rocks (shaded circles). When you find the body, make sure you put it under six feet of dirt (put a 6 in the cell with the victim's name).
The weapon used by the killer is in a cell with the digit 1. Meaning the 1 in box 4 is in the row of the murder weapon and the column of the murderer.
You get three statements, two of them are true but the killer also made a statement which is a lie:
Normal sudoku rules apply.

This was good fun. It's not hard, but the complexity of the ruleset means it takes a bit of time to get your head around.

Added "Meaning the 1 in box 4 is in the row of the murder weapon and the column of the murderer." to answer Akko's comment.

Really cool concept and fun to solve!
(Although I still don't understand what is meant by "The weapon used by the killer is in a cell with the digit 1.")

Thank you so much! I added a new sentence to the end of that paragraph to explain it a bit better, hope that helps!
