Rules:

Sudoku: Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column and marked 3x3 box.

Quads: Digits inside a large circle must appear in one of the cells that touch the circle.

Quadkis: Diagonally adjacent digits around a large circle must be in a 2:1 ratio (one of them must be double the other).

Strict quadkis: Diagonally adjacent digits not around a large circle cannot be in a 2:1 ratio.

White Kropki: Digits separated by a small white dot are consecutive.

Many thanks to the lovelies Jake, Ghaia and Myxo for testing ❤️

More quadkis please! Some fun discoveries with the negative constraint. Thanks for the excellent puzzle!

Reply by Lorena: This is actually my second quadki puzzle, but the first one didn’t have the negative constraint. Also the first one (“Technically Correct”) was an April Fools puzzle, so be warned. In any case, thanks for the solve and the lovely comment!

I started unsure how / if I could solve this, so it was very satisfying when all the quadkis sorted themselves about 6 minutes in. Then things flowed easily for a while, then it got hard in the late game! Very cool puzzle.

Reply by Lorena: I agree, it starts deceptively easy. But you made it! Very cool comment :)

I was so obsessed with the strict quadki rule that I almost forgot the standard quad rule. The last deduction made my day. Great puzzle, thanksl.

Fantastic puzzle! Really smooth flow and excellent use of a negative constraint. The symmetrical grid is a nice bonus.

Reply by Lorena: Thank you! Turns out you were right about the difficulty (no surprises).

Refreshing ruleset works great. I love the break in. 3*ish was only a hurdle near the end where it was harder without looking ahead. Great puzzle thx.
——
Reply by Lorena: Yes it’s a weird one, gets harder towards the end. Thank you for commenting!

Always been a fan of negative constraint puzzles and this one is no exception. The break-in was nice and then it just kept flowing, though personally my favourite was the last deduction (you know which one).

Oh also I was solving this with ghaia, and at some point she misclicked a 0 instead of a 9 at some point. So I told her "keep it, thats Lorena's fave digit anyway"

What a smooth break in, I said it once and I'll say say it again.
Thank you for the tester kudos, even though I barely tested this one hahah.
Accidentally wrote a 0 on one of the squares on accident, thought you'd enjoy to know :)

Reply by Lorena: That gave me a chuckle, thank you!

A sparse grid with a fluent solve is always a great puzzle.
Very well done.
