Normal Sudoku rules apply [Place the digits 1-9 in every row, column, and 3x3 box]
Sandwich sums [Numbers on the left indicate the sum of the digits between 1 and 9 in that row] They are in red.
Numbered rooms [digits on the right indicate the digit to be placed in the Nth cell in the corresponding direction, where N is the digit in the first cell in that direction.] They are in blue.
X-Sums [Numbers on the top of the grid indicate the sum of the first X digits where X is the first digit in that column.] They are in black.

For the red digit rules, you may want to add the word "between" to help clarify - i.e. the sum of the digits between 1-9
