I rated this 1/5 difficulty.
Really fun & approachable variant that I haven't tried/seen before (as far as I can remember)! The break in was creative, and the 'solve path' after the first digit(s) was also very well constructed and quite engaging.
I think you did a great job making the solve seem 'directed' for the first several major clues/deductions that were used - which was a bit surprising (to me, in a good way) given the more easy/approachable logic in the puzzle. I'm sure there are several possible solve paths, but I found that after I used/solved one clue, the puzzle seemed to flow very well into the next clue. It was very nice to see how each deduction ended up affecting another clue across the board which then pointed to another, and so on. Bouncing around the grid was fun.
The variant was interesting in general, and the way these ordered block clues interacts with killer cages was a fun idea that led to several nice deductions throughout the solve.
Regarding difficulty, I felt like this puzzle was around 1/5 difficulty, perhaps leaning a bit towards the harder side of 1* puzzle. I can see why the posted difficulty is 2/5, but in all honesty I felt like there wasn't any step of logic (that I used/found) difficult enough for me to rate it 2/5, as I believe a beginner solver (maybe with a bit of experience with killers) would be able to see and understand the ideas without external assistance.
Overall, I really enjoyed this puzzle. The break-in and early migame 'flow'/path were really creative and interesting for a 1-2/5 difficulty puzzle. I think that aspect of the solve was one of the best ive seen for a puzzle of that difficulty - and it was definitely my favors part. Thanks for sharing this puzzle!

As a secondary note for anyone stuck: I solved this puzzle on sudokuoad mobile and had the killer cage calculator tool enabled - and the dropdown for the tool menu blocked two clues on the bottom of the grid that I didn't see until the end. So make sure to check for this!
--------------------
Also, as another note/edit: I didn't need to use one of the clues on the bottom of the grid at all. When I got stuck at the end with a pair of digits that created a uniqueness problem, I started scanning around until I noticed the bottom clues and one of them resolved the issue. However, I only used one of the two bottom clues to resolve that 'issue'. I didn't refer to the other clue for that final disambiguation or in the main solve (since I wasn't aware it existed). I'm not sure this was intentional or if it allows to make an earlier deduction a bit easier - but AFAIK I didn't use it at all (without issue), unless, perhaps, I made an erroneous pencilmark/logical conclusion at some point during the midgame that ended up being correct. I don't think this is an inherent issue/proglem for this puzzle at an easier difficulty level - but I just noticed this. It was the [28] block, for reference

This was really fun and some different logic than what were used to.
I don't know if I just happened to look in the right places, but this didn't feel too difficult. There are multiple 1* puzzles here that take me more time.

Is there a difference for the clues on the right vs the left ? For instance does 16 mean 6 is at left of 1, or the other way round ?
Edit : Found out it could also be deduced. Very nice !

Some very clever logic required to eliminate options for the block. I especially enjoyed the multiple items in box 8 near the end. Very nice setting!
