(Eingestellt am 20. Februar 2025, 01:22 Uhr von pagedo)

CHIP'S Challenge was a top-down tile-based puzzle video game originally published in 1989. This is a sudoku interpretation of that retro game - level 5.

READ THE "BOARD/GRID" BELOW TO GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING OF THESE RULES

Normal sudoku rules apply.
Given digits represent the starting level and ending portal level.
Cells joined by a V sum to 5. Cells joined by a white dot, digits are consecutive. Not all Vs and dots are given.
Box borders divide the blue water (region sum) line into segments whose values have the same sum.
Killer cages, indicated by dotted lines, cannot have repeated digits and the digits in the cage sum to the total shown in the top-left corner. These killer cages are thermos. Numbers on a thermometer strictly increase as they move away from the bulb.
The 3 fire cell digits (R8C4, R7C4 and R6C4) increase from bottom to the top.
The 3 Fireballs (angled orange and red squares) and the Fireball launcher (Fireball on a grey tile) digits (R7C1, R7C3, R7C5, and R7C7) increase from left to right.
The Red Key, the Orange, Green and Blue toggle switches (small coloured circle), the Purple Ball, the Blue Drone, the Blue Drone Dock (larger circle) and the Red Bomb guarding the Portal form a set of the digits 1 to 9. A yellow square highlights these 9 cells for easier identification.
The other Red Bombs (small red circles), the Red Door (thin red line) and the Green Wall (green rectangle) are purely cosmetic from the Sudoku point of view.

Board/Grid:
----------------
A thin grey line represents the Walls to divide the grid into Rooms that have white square floor tiles.
A small red line represents the Red Door that is opened with the Red Key.
A Fireball launcher, launches Fireballs across the Fire cells and across the Water, protecting the Red Key.
A Purple Ball is rolling back and forth in the centre row room bouncing off the Right Wall and Green Wall. The Purple Ball crosses the Red Toggle switch launching a Fireball from the Fireball launcher.
The Green Toggle switch is used to lower the Green Wall, allowing the Purple Ball to move onto the left side of the room. Using the Green Toggle switch again, raises the Green Wall, trapping the Purple Ball on the left. The Fireball Launcher is no longer active, allowing the retrieval of the Red Key.
The Red Door is opened with the Red Key. Red Bombs surround the 2 Blue Toggle switches. A Blue Drone sits on top of the lower Blue Dock. A single Red Bomb guards the Level 6 portal.
The first Blue Toggle switch moves the Blue Drone to the upper Blue Dock. The second Blue Toggle switch moves the Blue Drone up and around the corner to the Red Bomb guarding the portal.
The Red Bomb explodes and the portal is now ok to enter.

Note there are no CHIPS in Level 5.
