This Killer-SlowThermo puzzle with an X is a tribute to my friend psninn, who has offered me plenty of assistance during my solve, also to the masterpiece set by him.

SPECIFICALLY
Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1 through 9 in each empty cell. Digits must not repeat within the same row, column, or box.
Digits along each slow thermometer must stay the same or increase starting from the bulb end.
The digits in a cage must sum to the number printed in its corner. Digits may not repeat within a cage.
Digits joined by a X must sum to 10.

Clarified that the thermometers are slow.

The thermometers are SLOW thermometers. Otherwise the puzzle is broken.
