Grow outside the grid

It's almost my birthday! My age is represented in the puzzle by the number of circles.
If you want to give me a small birthday gift, then please (after solving this one) go and give some of my other puzzles a try and maybe leave a comment (especially if they're kind...). It would make my day to get some more solves, comments and ratings!
This is the first time I'm using these kinds of clues across the grid border. I will likely do so again at some point because I've loved the idea ever since it came up.
The difficulty of this puzzle is probably about 3.5 stars.
Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply.
Purple/pink renban lines each contain a set of consecutive numbers in any order.
The purple/pink circles form a single disjoint renban line.
Clues outside the grid indicate the sum of the first X digits from that side, where X is the digit in the first cell from that side.
Digits separated by a blue square sum to an even total.

Very nice construction. Definitely 4* without taking notes, maybe 3.5 if we had the option to fill in the outer circles.
