A puzzle collaboration with Flinty.
We made the puzzle for Scojo's weekly setting prompt featuring ‘Deconstruction, German Whisper, and Palindrome’.

Rules:
Deconstruction: Place 9 non-overlapping 3x3 boxes in the grid. Fill each cell in a box with a digit from 1-9 such that digits don't repeat in rows, columns or boxes.
Fillominos: Divide the cells outside the 9 boxes into regions of orthogonally connected cells, and place the region size in each cell of those regions. Regions of the same size can't share an edge. Outside the 9 boxes digits can repeat in rows or columns
German Whisper: Adjacent numbers along a green German Whisper line must have a difference of at least 5.
Palindrome: Numbers on a grey line must read the same from both directions.
Single-digit fillominos are required for the solution checker
Solve online: SudokuPad
Lösungscode: Row 3 numbers (including fillominos) from left to right.

What does it mean that "Single-digit fillominos are required for the solution checker"? Are you saying all fillominoes in this puzzle are known to be single digit in size? Or that they may be larger, but one muwt only enter the unit digit of the true size in order to get the solution check?

Palpot: There could be a double digit fillominos in the puzzle but the solver is not required to enter them. On the other hand, the solver is required to enter all the single digit fillominos in the puzzle.
