Colouring is strongly advised for this one. The equivalence cages aren't actually necessary for this one to solve uniquely but it seemed it would become a brute force solve. If anyone has any clever ideas on how to solve that version, please let me know. Thanks!

Thanks for a nice puzzle. There are some very cool logics in the ring that is lost because of the cages, but there were plenty left :-)
And I mostly used letters, and a couple of colours for the few letters/digits I didn't "know".

As it is, this is a great coloring puzzle! No need to change anything. 3.5 stats for me. Thx for sharing.

Changed the last line for region sums so it actually makes sense.

If you use a D cage in R3C3 and R4C7, you can remove the last sentence in the region sum rules section :)
Alternatively, you could “break” the long square region sum line between R3C6 and R3C7, then extend R3C7 into R4C7
Fenners: Good spot, cutting the line would be my preferred option, to not clutter the grid with too many cages. Hindsight is a wonderful thing!

"Every line sums to the same value" is obviously impossible though,
"both lines share the same region sum" would be a more accurate description.
anyhow, a nice puzzle, nicely set, took me a while to see how to lever it open.
Thanks for sharing
Fenners: You're right, the way I worded it was subpar. Edited it now.
