PUZZLE
RULES
Sudoku: Normal NxN Latin Square Sudoku rules apply; place the digits 1-N once in every row and column of each Latin Square. Latin Square borders are placed above the fog.
Cipher: Each of the digits 1-8 is represented by a distinct letter from L FIBONAC.
Fibonacci Line: Divide the golden line into non-overlapping segments, length and composition to be deduced. Each segment is equal to the sum of the previous two segments, if they exist. (For example, if the first segment is determined to be 3, the subsequent line segments would be 3, 3, 6, 9, 15, etc...) The first segment of the line has been revealed.
Modified Numbered Room: A clue outside the grid indicates the digit which will be placed in the Nth cell of the Latin Square, where N is the first digit of the Golden Line seen from the direction of the clue. This clue is true for every NxN Latin Square seen by the clue that also contains a part of the Golden Line seen by the clue.
Dynamic Fog: The grid is covered in fog. Placing a correct digit in a cell dispels the fog and possibly reveals new clues.
NOTES
Expected Difficulty: 3 stars
This was set for
Scojo's Setting Saturday Prompt, this week chosen by the wheel: Fog of War.
I have created an
Example Puzzle with a valid Fibonacci Line and Modified Numbered Rooms but no Cipher, to sort of introduce the ruleset. You can find the solution
here.
Play Phi on SudokuPad.
Lösungscode: Row 7, left to right.

Lovely puzzle - I especially like what I believe to be an innovation of sticking different sized Latin squares next to each other!
