- Es gelten die normalen 6x6-Sudoku-Regeln, d.h. jede Reihe, Spalte und 2x3-Region muss die Zahlen von 1 bis 6 enthalten.
- Counting Differences: Die Differenz zweier entlang einer farbigen Linie benachbarten Ziffern gibt genau an, wieviel Paare benachbarter Ziffern entlang dieser Line exakt diese Differenz haben.
Beispiel: Wenn zwei benachbarte Ziffern eine Differenz von 2 haben, gibt es genau zwei Paare entlang der Linie benachbarter Ziffern, die eine Differenz von 2 haben. Zum Beispiel könnte eine gültige Linie 2465 (zwei Differenzen von 2 und eine Differenz von 1) lauten, aber nicht 2464, da hier dreimal die Differenz 2 vorkommt.
- XV: Durch ein V verbundene Ziffern addieren sich zu 5. Durch ein X verbundene Ziffern addieren sich zu 10. (Nicht alle XV sind angegeben.)
