A dangerous mission of the highest importance is underway in the Beta Penthe system which needs your help!;

A group of peaceful colonists have been captured by the Klingon empire. Forcefully removed from their home planet, they have been taken to the penal planet Rura Penthe where they now face a life of slavery and heavy labour, forced to mine the dilithium crystals which fuel their oppressors empire. In response, Starfleet has coordinated a rescue mission consisting of two starships, but its success hangs in the balance.

The colonists are being kept on two separate prison camps (green cages) both of which are being locked onto by each of the starships (grey lines). They are poised on standby, ready to enact the rescue plan. To execute the plan successfully, important information about the locations of colonists and their Klingon captors needs to be fed back to the ships. A landing party consisting of Captain Kirk (yellow 1), Spok (blue 2), Dr McCoy (blue 3) and Scotty (red 4) has been sent down to the planets surface to ascertain the crucial information.

The landing party needs to gather the key information about the first of the camps from one part of the planets surface and send this back through the communication lines (blue lines) to the relevant starship. One of them then needs to operate a local transporter system to beam across the rest of the party to another location on the planets surface to retrieve the same crucial information about the second prison camp. Once that information is sent to the second starship the rescue mission can go ahead with high probability of success (98.432% likelihood according to Mr. Spock).

To maintain a clear frequency of communication without significant noise interference, the communication lines (blue lines) are region sum lines.

Starships are military vessels with strict heirarchies. They are therefore entropic lines.

The prison camps are killer cages in which digits do not repeat and sum to the number specified at the top left.

The landing party must beam across the planets surface using the coloured clone boxes. These clone boxes are exact mirror images of each other across the positive diagonal (eg., R1C2 = R8C9).

Lastly, Spock has used his tricorder to measure some perculiar physical laws active on this planet which need to be accommodated for in the mission. To account for this, he has marked circles between certain cells which specifies their exact difference.
