this weeks Scojo prompt was decided by Dorlir. It is about loop puzzles with a small amount of clues. I decided to go for the "classic" whisper-loop rules but allow diagonal touching for some wilder loop shapes. Hope you enjoy!
Lösungscode: Digits on the loop in row 5.

I spent about 40 minutes not making progress, left it for a day, came back and finished in 15 minutes. A little perspective goes a long way, (I definitely overlooked some key logic in the beginning).

Such a smooth and satisfying solve. Like putting on a pair of new socks for the first time. Beautiful.

Wow! It's the first loop puzzle I've ever solved! Thank you for an insertion in The Loop Culture!

Love this one. Very quick and straightforward, and the circles in box 8 did exactly what i hoped they'd do :)
A++ on the solution code as well

@Nathancdj Imagine drawing a continuous line that loops and then cutting it into several pieces using the box borders.
The circle denotes the length of the cut line it's a part of.

I don't understand the circles rule. Does the digit in the circle count the number of cells in the loop on the 3x3 box? Because there até two circles on the sane box... I'm missing something
---
gdc: it is almost the same as number of cells in the 3x3 box. But if the loop enters a box twice, each visit will result into a separate segment with a separate cell count (similar to region sum lines).

My first solo solve on any kind of loop/path puzzle. That was scary, but very enjoyable once i stopped being stupid! Thanks gdc ♥

Highest compliment I can offer: I don’t like loop puzzles, I’m no good at loop puzzles, and I still enjoyed this. Nice work.

Astonishing. This is without a doubt one of (if not) the best 1 star puzzle(s) out there. Close to a GAS without being trivial, and with so few clues. Thanks!
