It didn't take too much hunting to find the next digit near the end, I didn't have to bifurcate,
if you're stuck look at each potential digit on column 9...

Same as thunderflash and Martini, the filling of the line was quite straight forward, but at the end I had to bifurcate to disambiguate the rest.

I don't agree with the 1* rating, the puzzle doesn't require trial and error but has a difficult sudoku step.
Overall I found the puzzle a little too uneven in difficulty but I really enjoyed the simplicity of the ruleset and the artistic looking grid. Thanks!

The loop is nice, got that very easily. Then got stuck at then end trying to disambiguate the rest of the grid doing sudoku and could not figure it and had to resort to trial and error.
