Normal Sudoku rules apply.
CRABS - A digit N on a crab means it is about to take N steps sideways, landing in a cell with a digit less than N. Crab paths do not intersect.
TRAPS - Crabs can walk into traps, and inside traps, but can't walk out of them again. Adjacent digits along a trap differ by at least 5.

Nice puzzle! Clever break-in and some cool deductions. Found the second half quite a bit trickier though.

The puzzle was nice and all, but I really appreciated the attention to detail in the broken little bits in the crab netting.

Wow! Very nice puzzle. I stared at the screen for 15 minutes before finding the brilliant opening and then got stuck again at the finish but pulled through at the end. Loved this puzzle

This is one of the puzzles I thought during the middle of the solving path it was absolutely impossible that there’s a unique solution… Of course there is one! Thank you very much for creating and sharing this surprising gem.
