This is my loop-based take on the Split Pea line introduced by SamuPiano. Estimated difficulty is between 3 and 4 stars.
Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply.
Draw a one-cell-wide loop of orthogonally connected cells. The loop may not touch itself, not even diagonally.
Split Pea: 3x3 region borders divide the loop into segments. Each segment must have at least three cells and acts as a split pea line. The sum of the interior digits of a loop segment is equal to a concatenation of the two values in the two ends of the segment, in some order. For example, 8_459_1 would be a valid split pea segment, as 4+5+9=18, which is 1 concatenated with 8.
Digits in circles are on the loop, and give the total number of loop cells (including itself) seen in all horizontal/vertical directions combined. Non-loop cells block the vision.
Digits in squares are NOT on the loop, and give the total number of NON-loop cells (including itself) seen in all horizontal/vertical directions combined. Loop cells block the vision.
Lösungscode: Digits on the loop in row 8 (left to right) followed by digits on the loop in column 2 (top to bottom)

Hi to understand the rules. They say "each segment must have at least three cells" - besides saying that each line within a box must be three cells long (at least) is it also implying that there needs to be a line in every box
--------
No, there is no implication that every box must have a line segment. There can be 3x3 boxes with no line segments.

Extremely beautiful loup-building logic! Didn't feel very hard at any point, but it still required lots of cool deductions to see through the pea soup. So 3.5* seems fair. Thanks!
