RULES:

Normal Sudoku Rules Apply

The grid represents a river where the bottom of the grid is downstream of upper rows. Row 9 is the most downstream row and row 1 is the most upstream row.

Draw a path from the canoe (r1c1) to the gold medal (r9c5). The path travels between the centers of adjacent (including diagonally) cells. The path may never be more than one row upstream from an earlier point in the path, and may never enter the same cell twice or cross itself. Adjacent digits on the path must differ by at least 2.

Gates: Two connected circles form a gate. The path must pass through each gate. The path must be heading downstream through green (G) gates and upstream through red (R) gates. The path may not touch a gate circle.

Cages: Digits may not repeat in cages, and digits ON THE PATH in a cage sum to the value in the cage's upper left corner.

Lösungscode: The digits on the path in box 6, from the start (nearer the canoe) to the end (nearer the medal).

Took me ages - have no idea if there is something obvious I missed. But rewarding to finish. Great puzzle.

This was in many ways harder than I was expecting but also in many ways easier than I feared. It was however, in every way, a phenomenal puzzle (as always!).

I got it now right. Thank you very much for the puzzle,I really liked how the path was constructed and alternated with sudoku. And thanks a lot for solving my requests on your YouTube channel))
