Five O' Six

(Published on 31. August 2024, 01:53 by antiknight)

I created a puzzle that combines Dutch Flatmates constraints with arrows in a 6x6 grid. Let me know if you enjoy solving the puzzle!

Rules:
1) Normal Sudoku rules apply:
Place the digits 1-6 into each cell of the grid. None of the rows, columns or boldly outlined 3x3 boxes contain repeated digits.

2) Dutch Flats rules apply:
Every 5 in the grid must have a 1 directly above it or a 6 directly below it. It may have both, but it doesn't need both.

3) Standard Renban rules apply:
Digits along each purple renban line must be a set of consecutive digits in any order.

4) Standard Arrows rules apply:
The digits along each arrow must sum to the digit in the circled cell.

Nice logic especially on the arrows! Fun to see what seemed like many possible solutions dwindle down once each piece came together.

- Thanks for your comment and yes the Dutch flats rule interacts well with the arrows.
