- Irregular sudoku rules apply. Place digits 1 to 9 once each in every row, column and region.
- Digits on an arrow sum to the digit in its circle.
- Light blue lines are palindromes, read the same either direction.
- Light purple lines contain a set of consecutive numbers.
- Brown lines contain a set of non-consecutive numbers.
- Adjacent digits on a orange/green/yellow/red line have a difference of at least 4/5/6/7, respectively.

yes! they are the cake layers.
it was supposed to be a hint for something but the hint is not really needed.

I think the stripes in the background are just layers of cake and frosting. I would have gone with a 1-2-1-2-1-2 pattern. It avoids the skinny layer in the middle, and you don’t need icing on the bottom, but that’s me, I’m a baker! ;-)
