Normal sudoku rules apply.
If the same digit appears in the same position in two boxes, that digit also appears in the same position in one more box.
Cells connected by an X must sum to 10. Cells connected by an V must sum to 5.
All X's and V's are given.
Digits along a thermometer increase from the bulb end.
