I was all set to publish a different puzzle, but then I noticed the ID number that was assigned to it, and decided to base a puzzle on that instead. So my computer and I got together for a jam session, trying out a few ideas. This is what we came up with. I hope you're hungry for some jam sandwiches.
In some of the clues, certain digits have been replaced by the letters J, A, and M. These represent 3 different digits from 2 to 8. (A clue like "3J" means the 2-digit number 30+J, not the product 3 times J.) Note: I'm not ruling out the possibility that a digit might be replaced by a letter in some clues but not in others, so a letter might represent 2 or 3.
Standard sudoku rules apply: Fill the grid with digits from 1 to 9 so that each digit occurs exactly once in each row, column, and 3x3 box.
Standard sandwich rules apply, along with a no-skimping condition: A clue outside the grid gives the sum of the digits between the 1 and 9 in its row or column. And for every row and column, either all of the digits J, A, and M occur within the sandwich or none of them do.
Killer rules partially apply: The digits in a cage, defined by the dotted lines, sum to the number in the top left corner. But you can jam as many copies of a digit into a cage as you like, as long as they obey the sudoku rules. (I.e. digits CAN repeat within a cage.)
You can solve this in SudokuPad.
Lösungscode: Rows 7 and 8.

Clarified rule about letters replacing digits.

Is it allowed, that J,A,M can be replaced with one of the given numbers 1,2 or 3?
@Luigi: 2 and 3 are allowed, but 1 is not. (Since 1 and 9 are the "crusts" of the sandwich, I didn't want any ambiguity about whether they're within the sandwich or not.)
I'll clarify in the description that 2 and 3 are allowed.

This was brilliant, the solve was smooth and engaging without being overwhelming -- and yet somehow i kept breaking it :skull: -- though I do think that was more "dumb user error" than anything particularly gnarly with the puzzle, I just kept messing up the arithmetic in the 3M cage for idek even what reason. Thank you for setting this puzzle, it is truly masterful

Just like I like my jam, this puzzle was sweet and without any overly hard bits :)
