Doctor, my fever might be odd

(Published on 30. July 2024, 12:45 by PhysicistFromFunen)

Ruleset:
  1. Normal Sudoku rules apply.
  2. Blue (orange) thermometers restrict only even (odd) digits. That is, on a blue thermometer, the even digits strictly increase from the bulb end, and likewise for odd digits on an orange thermometer. Digits of the unrestricted parity can go anywhere and in any order on a thermometer.
  3. Thermometers are strictly dominated by digits of the restricted parity. E.g. a 4 cell orange thermometer must have at least 3 odd digits.

The puzzle is also available online in the CtC App. As always, I will greatly appreciate any feedback!

That was so much fun! Absolutely love the odd/even thermometers! But definitely agree with The Bard - would perhaps prefer green/pink lines over blue/orange.

Small bit of feedback the coloring, especially the blue, made it hard to see some of the digits and pencil marks. But a very creative puzzle.

I will absolutely keep that in mind. Thank you!
