Russian Circles

This puzzle started life as a puzzle in a Speed Setting Contest within Skunkworks. In the 90-minutes I had available to me, I created a unique, but not-humanly-solvable puzzle. Once that round was over, I decided to rework what I had into something that flowed well.
- Normal Sudoku rules apply: Fill each row, column, and 3x3 box with the digits 1-9 once each.
- Counting Circles: Any digit in a circle indicates how many circles contain that digit.
- Russian Doll Sums. Clues outside the box indicate that in that row or column, there exist two digits which sum to the clue, such that the digits between them also sum to the clue. If there are multiple clues in a row or column, the sequences of clued digits appear in the same order as the clues. If clues are red, the sequences of clued digits in that row or column overlap with the clued digits of an adjacent red clue in that same row or column. If the clues are black, the sequence of clued digits does not overlap with another sequence of clued digits in that row or column.
