Evenly Odd
By Pixeleon
Being inspired by Cracking the Cryptic, I made my first ever sudoku, and it's a variant!
I came up with the variant idea myself, so I'm sorry if the rules aren't the clearest. I tried my best in providing examples.
Rules:
+ Each row must contain the numbers from 1 to 9, without repetitions (Standard Sudoku)
+ Each column must contain the numbers from 1 to 9, without repetitions (Standard Sudoku)
+ The digits can only occur once per box (Standard Sudoku)
+ The hints on the left indicate the sum of the first consecutive set of EVEN digits in the indicated row from left to right. (variant)
+ The hints on the top indicate the sum of the first consecutive set of EVEN digits in the indicated column from top to bottom. (variant)
+ The hint in the top-left corner indicates the sum of the first consecutive set of EVEN digits in the indicated diagonal from top-left to bottom-right. (variant)
+ The hints on the right indicate the sum of the first consecutive set of ODD digits in the indicated row from right to left. (variant)
+ The hints on the bottom indicate the sum of the first consecutive set of ODD digits in the indicated column from bottom to top. (variant)
+ The hint in the bottom-right corner indicates the sum of the first consecutive set of ODD digits in the indicated diagonal from bottom-right to top-left. (variant)
Example:
Hint on the left: 6. This could mean that from left to right on that row, there could be a 6, followed by a number of ODD digits, followed by the rest of the even and odd digits
Example row: 3, 6, 1, 2, 4, 9, 5, 8, 7
The hint on the right would be 7, as the first consecutive set of odd digits from right to left.
However the hint is a SUM. Meaning this could also be a possible solution for a hint on the left of 6, reading from left to right.
Alternate possible example row: 2, 4, 3, 8, 6, 9, 7, 5, 1
In this alternate example, "2, 4" is the first consecutive set of even digits from left to right. The sum of these digits is 6, which is indicated by the hint.
The hint on the right for the alternate example would be 22(1 + 5 + 7 + 9)
Puzzle:
*NOTE: F-Puzzle cannot verify the solution. You have to verify here using the solution code.
Happy solving! I hope you had fun :D
Lösungscode: Enter the ODD digits of row 2 and 6 in the order in which they appear from left to right. Followed by the EVEN digits of row 1 and 4 in the order in which they appear from left to right. (no spaces)

@MrQubo, you are entering the solution to puzzle solved by Mark on CtC. This puzzle is different, although the title in Mark’s solve is the same as here.
The puzzle solved by Mark is actually here titled “Oddly Logical”:

If you enjoyed this sudoku, I have made another one with the same variant ("Oddly Logical"). You can find it here; https://logic-masters.de/Raetselportal/Raetsel/zeigen.php?id=000J1S

Thank you to RockyRoer for pointing me in the right direction for sudoku setting. I did notice that the link posted by RockyRoer was missing the given digit '7', so the correction was made and posted here (Sven's SudokuPad); https://sudokupad.app/zwnsr8rq7v.

Here's a link to allow people to solve with Sven's Sudokupad, which is the preferred solving method for many: https://sudokupad.app/rfk30isg5i
I'd recommend trying to set with Sudokumaker - its free and doesn't require any accounts. You can check it out at www.sudokumaker.app. Here's a link to this puzzle that I made there: https://tinyurl.com/27t3p9n4
And in general, I'd recommmend joining the CTC server on Discord. It's a fabulous community of solvers, where you can learn all about setting, get testing and feedback, etc. The discord community would require creating an account.

If anyone knows any other websites where I can build the sudoku, let me know. I'd gladly add them there too. Ideally without having to make accounts...
