Cells connected by an X must sum to 10.
Cells connected by an V must sum to 5.
All X's and V's are given.
Any two cells separated by a knight's move (in chess) cannot contain the same digit..
Digits must increase from the bulb of the thermometers

I spent about 30 minutes staring at a nearly blank grid, then discovered one piece of geometry that allowed the rest to resolve in about 10 minutes. Beautiful construction.
