Vingt

(Eingestellt am 14. Juni 2024, 00:35 Uhr von jsmirob)

Normal sudoku rules apply. Each cage contains four different digits summing to 20. No two cages may have the same composition of digits.

Grey circles contain odd digits. Grey squares contain even digits. Digits separated by an X sum to ten, digits separated by a white dot are consecutive, and digits separated by a black dot are in a 1:2 ratio (i.e. one is double the other).

Here are some hints to help you along. Highlight them to read.

Hint #1: Think about parity.

Hint #2: The 2468 cage has only one valid position.

Hint #3: Think about where 5s go.

Hint #4: The 1478 and 2369 cages are special, and have no digits in common.

Loved the way many of the cages resolved, especially the top right. Fun combination of tricks and setting!

Too hard for me! I see what the break-in is (or will be), but I can't quite translate that knowledge into something concrete enough to place that first digit. I'm hoping what I'm missing isn't too obvious!

jsmirob: I've added a few hints for the trickier steps. The first two are for the break-in. Hope that helps!
