Japanese Ranking

A clue indicates the 'ranking' of a sum of a group in its row or column, where 1 is the smallest sum, 2 is the second smallest sum, and so on. If multiple clues within a row or column have the same ranking, that means their corresponding sums are equal.

Extraordinary puzzle! It was really really hard for me but so delicious that couldn’t let go of it and can’t believe I was able to solve it at last. And now it appears so logical once you know the logic at various stages. Thanks a lot for sharing this @KNT.

very good. it is easy to make mistakes or overlook one partition. You may not realize it until you get stuck several steps later.
The ending was especially nice. I almost threw away the correct solution with only the last few fields remaining.
