I really do have to concur with the fact that this puzzle feels more like 3/5 diff at least overall.

I'm not sure what I'm missing, but for some reason I found this way harder than 2 stars.
I even had to use some ring technique, although I'm not sure, if that's intended?

There are exactly four cells in the four corners to fill in {123} , and the cage with 27 must be (3789). Otherwise, if one of them does not contain {123} , there will be another cage to fill with two {123} , which is impossible in cage 26 or 27.
