Cracking the Cryptic video
Place one or more digits from 1-9 in every cell so that each digit appears exactly once in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
All the digits in the cell(s) touching each V sum to 5.
White dots always separate a pair of digits with adjacent values (but there can also be additional digits in the separated cells).

This was a lot of fun. The logic around deducing which cells contained multiple digits looked impossible at first but flowed smoothly after a couple mistakes. I would love to see more of this variation!

What a magically bizarre puzzle! I stared at it for some time thinking I'd never get it, but then I read the comments and they encouraged me to keep looking. Finding the path in was a delight and I thoroughly enjoyed this throughout. Thank you!

Excellent puzzle, cool idea. I found all the cells with multiple digits very quickly but one of them took ages to deduce its contents. Thank you for setting and sharing this gem.

Some "creative new ideas" turn out to just be nothing but frustration for me. I sighed and decided to try this one ... and am very glad I did. Once a certain deduction is made about how to find the cells that hold multiple digits, it becomes ... maybe not "Easy" but at least manageable. :-D

It took me way longer than it should have, to realize that those cut out cells merge into other cells which hold multiple values.
But once I realized that, I really loved it, it was some logic that was new to me.

Absolutely brilliant. Seems unimaginable to start, a wonderfully elegant break-in, and then everything just flows from there. Had to invent new meanings for notation to hold each new discovery in my head.
