Knighted Ranged Regiments

(Eingestellt am 18. April 2024, 03:26 Uhr von RaygunUltra)

Hello once again everyone. This is my third puzzle in a set of 3 planned puzzles using a torus grid. And I'm happy to say that I now know how to use the SudokuPad maker so I'll be able to include a link for that. (thanks to those of you who shared various links with me, they were very helpful.) After using the SudokuPad maker and getting two of these puzzles to work on there, it's inspired me to make some more of these puzzles in the future, but I think I'll try my hand at more normal sudoku puzzles for a bit. We'll see how that goes. if you want to solve my other puzzles in this set of 3 here are the links for them:

Knightly Nine's Killer Donut

Around the Torus in 100 cells

Now, on to this puzzle. I hope you like it.

Normal sudoku rules apply; i.e. the digits 1 to 9 need to be placed, once each, in every row, column, and 3x3 box.

This grid is set on a torus, and only has 100 cells. This means that row 1 and row 11 are in fact the same row. The same is true of column 1 and column 11. Within the grid are 10- 3x3 boxes that must be found. This means that there are 10 cells in the grid that contain no digit. (Blank cells use a zero to solve uniquely)

Cells separated by a knight's move (in chess) cannot contain the same digit.

Digits along an arrow must sum to the digit in that arrow’s circle.

Digits in a cage must sum to the number in the top left corner of that cage.

Cells separated by a V must sum to 5.

Cells separated by a black dot must be in a 2:1 ratio.

Another enjoyable torus sudoku! I'm glad you finally learned how to use the apps, and I'm already waiting for more of your creative puzzles! I would add to the rules that digits must not repeat in cages, just in case.
