Pointed Totals (Hot Arrows, Killer)

(Eingestellt am 25. März 2024, 16:29 Uhr von Chilly)

I was asked to make a puzzle combining the min/max arrow rules with other constraints - so I chose killer, and this was the result. It should be quite approachable.

    The Rules:

Normal Sudoku rules apply. Hot Arrows: The digit in a hot arrow cell must be bigger than the digits in all the cells that it points to. Killer Cages: Digits in cages must sum to the total in the top left corner of the cage, Digits may not repeat in a cage.

Very nice puzzle. It might indeed be 2* but I have to admit it took a while for me to get familiar with these arrows. Was kinda hard to keep track what restricted what at times.

But yeah, very fun in the end. Thanks Chilly!

Another great implementation of this ruleset! Lots of interesting interactions with the cages, and super smooth

Thanks MP - glad you enjoyed!

I enjoyed this. The logical flow is clean and smooth. 3 stars is way too high a difficulty rating imho.

Yeah - I think you're right. I was trying not to set levels too low with a newish rule set, but in this case 2* does seem right.
