This puzzle is my humble contribution to Flinty's amazing Dutch flat mates series. If you haven't had the pleasure of experiencing them yet, I highly encourage you to do so— you'll find the entire series linked below.
Note that I've made a slight adjustment in the Dutch flat mates rule (with Flinty's approval) to better align with the Ying Yang rules.
Rules:
Normal Sudoku rules apply. Place the digits 1-9 once in each row, column, and 3X3 box.
Yin and Yang:
Shade some cells such that all shaded cells are orthogonally connected and all unshaded cells are orthogonally connected. No 2x2 area may be fully shaded or fully unshaded.
Digits in a cage cannot repeat. Digits in shaded cells inside a Cage sum to the clue in the top left corner of the cage.
5s live in Dutch Neighborhoods.
All 5's in the grid must have a shaded '1' or an unshaded '9' orthogonally adjacent to them. It may have both, but it doesn't need both.
Previous puzzles in the Dutch Flat Mates series:
Lösungscode: Row 5 digits from left to right.

I really enjoyed the Dutch Neighborhood constraint! This is my first time coming across this ruleset. The way it unwound the 5's was beautiful :)

I really liked the twist on the dutch Flat Mates variant which felt like a perfect match for Yin and Yang. Thank you for setting !
