Sum Cages Are Hidden
(Eingestellt am 12. März 2024, 02:27 Uhr von Krydax)
I can't remember where I saw it but I really wanted to play with the idea of variable-sum cages which use their own digits. So this puzzle was slowly born!
Rules:
- Normal sudoku rules apply.
- The solver must fill every non-gray cell of the grid with non-overlapping, rectangle-shaped cages. Cages cannot contain gray cells. Digits may repeat within a cage if allowed by other rules.
- Each cage sums to a 2-digit number, which are represented by reading the upper-left two digits as a two digit number (or the top digit and the one underneath it, if its a 1-column cage.) e.g. if the top-left cell of a cage is an 8, and the cell to its right is a 9, the cage total would be 89.)
- A white dot between two digits indicates their difference is one. Not all white dots are given.
- Oops! A cage may have gotten bent in shipping this puzzle to you. Not to worry, its rules are still the same.

wrong wording of non-cage cells from old version.
