Eight Lines

Normal Sudoku Rules Apply:
Each row, column and 3x3 box contains the digits 1-9.
Eight Lines:
Each line consists of one or more contiguous groups of cells, each of which sums to 8. These groups of cells cannot overlap. Digits may repeat on lines and even within sums.
This puzzle was originally created for the CTC Discord February Setter Prompt "Just One Thing". If you are familiar with the constraint 'Ten Lines', it's essentially that but modified.
Example line added to the image below.
The Example Line is Split into: 323.8.17.521 with each segment summing to 8.

I really enjoyed this - thanks so much! Took me a little while to get a handle on the constraint but after I got the break-in the rest flowed really smoothly.

Great idea for a new constraint, & very well used, not combined with anything else. I was a bit afraid when looking for a starting point but I eventually enjoyed the puzzle very much. Thanks for sharing!!
