Divide the grid into regions, so that no two orthogonally adjacent regions have the same size.
In each cell, insert the size of the region containing it.
Standard Kropki rules apply
A black dot separates two numbers with a 1:2 ratio.
A white dot separates two numbers with a difference of 1.
Adjacent cells containing numbers with a 1:2 ratio or/and a difference of 1 must be separated by a dot.

Thanks everyone for giving it a go! Yeah, the negative constraint is pretty crucial. I'm not likely to set a larger one, but I'll probably set another hybrid puzzle in the near future :-)

That was fun ! Indeed a surprising peak of difficulty after the midsolve. But I kind of expected that from the way the clues are disposed in that area. A larger #3 when ? :)

A very engaging puzzle with lots of neat and fun deductions! (along with that one diff spike in the top right that I’m not so sure about my reasoning to proceed :| )
