Normal Sudoku rules apply (Place the digits 1-9 in every row, column, and 3x3 box)
Standard little killer rules apply (Numbers outside the grid give you the sum of all digits in the indicated diagonal)
Normal killer cage rules apply (Digits in cages sum to the digit in the top left corner)
Normal X/V rules apply. (Digits with a V between them sum to 5, and digits with an X between them sum to 10)
Thermo rules apply (Numbers strictly increase from the bulb to the tip)
Standard disjoint rules apply (Cells that appear in the same relative position in their 3x3 box must not contain the same number)

Could someone please give an example of the disjoint rule? I’m seeing it two ways. (Thanks for the example, very helpful!)

@Ganbatte
For instance if R1C1 is 1 then also R4C4, R4C7, R7C4, and R7C7 can't be 1.
