I always wanted to create a blank grid with somewhat standard and short rules. Here is my newest creation. I hope you have as much fun solving it as I had setting it :)
Rules:Normal Sudoku rules apply.
All columns and rows are region sum lines (in each box, the digits sum to the same value along the lines)
The negative diagonal (R1C1 to R9C9) is a 9 cell thermometer (digits are strictly increasing from bulb to tip, and the bulb could be on either end).
There are exactly 17 friendly digits in the grid (digits are friendly, if they are equal to their column, row or box number.)
The cells containing the friendly digits are rotational symmetric at every 90° rotation.
Solve online:Lösungscode: Column 5 from top to bottom (9 digits)

Magical is right! Just creating a blank grid that is solvable is impressive. But it's also an interesting puzzle and satisfying to work it out.

I fully agree with Prof Dori's comment. I can't imagine what people were thinking rating this, it's an excellent puzzle, very elegant and fun to solve.

This puzzle having a rating less than 90% is criminal. This just show some people have no idea what a good sudoku is!
