This is a normal 9x9 Sudoku grid that has been separated into 3x3 boxes, shown here in an arbitrary order. When correctly assembled the following rules apply:
Provided also is a completely empty "Unshredded" version of the puzzle containing no clues, so you can keep track of the true positions of boxes as you find them, to make scanning easier. Both versions include a solution, so you can fill either or both, as you prefer.
Lösungscode: The digits in the box which contains 2 in its central cell, in reading order; followed by the digits in the box which contains 9 in its central cell, in reading order.

A really nice idea for a puzzle, but it seems to be limited by the lack of software able to move 3x3 squares around the grid! Definitely missed a lot of really obvious scans due to the new format of the puzzle, but it's a fun one.

Yeah, it's unfortunate I know. The whole time I was setting it I just kept thinking about how much better it would be if you could actually move the boxes around visually. It's why I have the "Unshredded" version, but it's still pretty clunky. Thank you for the kind words though :)

i had to solve the puzzle in a normal grid (once I figured out the central squares of each box), because I wasn't seeing too many obvious things.
