I thought it seemed right to end the year with a pure circles puzzle. But with the twist that you have to find the regions too. Happy New Year everyone, I hope you all have an amazing 2024!
Rules:
- Divide the grid into eight 2x4 boxes. Each box could be placed either horizontally or vertically.
- Fill the grid with the digits 1-8, so that no digit repeats in a row, column or box.
- A digit in a circle indicates exactly how many circles contain that digit.
- Digits joined by a small white dot are consecutive. Not all possible white dots are shown.

Love it! There's a bit of a trick to it that I figured out, which made it more like one star.

Great! Someone with better sudoku skills could get this faster but at least I always felt like I was asking productive questions.

Such a fun puzzle! The ruleset was novel to me, but the circles made it feel more familiar. Looked tricky at first, but slowly unwound with beautiful logic.

Beautiful puzzle!!! I loved the interaction with the white dots on pairs of digits I had already discerned! Lovely little mind bender!
