This is a puzzle that I created in honour of a woman I work with and her family, especially her son, Jakob. He was born with severe combined immunodeficiency (“bubble boy syndrome”). He looks like a healthy, happy 4 year old, but he’s on a cocktail of medications until they can get him gene therapy. She is a dedicated mother who is home-schooling Jakob (for obvious reasons); she works a full time job; she is a very strong and vocal advocate (on a national level) for children with a wide variety of immunodeficiency issues. Oh yeah, she is a breast cancer survivor, having cancer while dealing with everything else. And she is never down or despondent, an unbelievably positive attitude. I don’t know a stronger person.

This isn’t a plea for donations, just giving you the background of the puzzle. You are free to redistribute this puzzle or use it in a video. I just want to raise awareness.
This is an easy puzzle, probably a GAS, and a pretty good introduction to thermometer sudokus.
Standard sudoku and thermo rules.
Solution code: Enter row 9.

Definitely not a GAS but very enjoyable since there is a very motivating starting phase before progress becomes harder..
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the information SCID. Wishing the best for Jakob and family. Was a fun easy puzzle, but for me wasn't a GAS.

Nice puzzle. It's harder than a 1 start....at least it was for me. I did not think this was a GAS at all. Maybe I was missing something obvious
