Rules:
Normal 4x4 sudoku rules apply for each grid.
Digits may not appear in the same relative position in multiple 4x4 grids.
Grid 1 (Top Left): The finished grid contains the minimum number of friendly cells (6 cells), i.e. cell that contain digits which match at least one of the row, column, or box number. Friendly cells MAY NOT touch diagonally.
Grid 2 (Top Right): The finished grid contains the maximum number of friendly cells (12 cells).
Grid 3 (Bottom Left): For each number 1-4, there must be at least one set of three identical digits in a diagonal line of adjacent cells somewhere in the grid.
Grid 4 (Bottom Right): No additional rules.

It took me a little while to wrap my head around max-ing/min-ing the number of friendly cells, but I've been wondering about 3D-oku for a while; this is SUCH a lovely implementation of it!

A little hard to work my head around the friendly cell restriction. Nice puzzle overall. Rules could use a bit of clarifying whether the diagonal restriction only applies to box 1 or to all friendly cells.
