Chemistry is like a puzzle ...

(Published on 19. October 2023, 10:35 by Sumanta(ANU))

===Rules===

Normal Sudoku rules apply.

Entropy: The blue line is an entropy line. Any set of three sequential cells along an entropic line must contain a low digit (1,2,3), a middle digit (4,5,6), and a high digit (7,8,9). Digits may repeat on a line, if allowed by other rules.

Thermo: Digits must strictly increase from the bulb towards the tip in the thermometers.

Kropki: Empty circles connect consecutive digits, filled circle (box-7, left circle) joins digits with 1:2 ratio. Not all possible dots are given.

Shadings are just for aesthetics.

Lovely puzzle, nice flow and pretty neat use of entropic lines. The only thing I would change is the dark blue line, the dark color makes seeing the pencil marks a bit hard, but other than that, it was a really enjoyable solve :)

@taniabn...thank you for the solve, feedback and the kind suggestion. I am happy that you enjoyed solving the puzzle. I now completely understand your concern about the blue line. I shall post a better version (link) as soon as I get a computer access.

Lovely puzzle. Did you create it because of the Lessons in Chemistry show that just premiered?

@Zensien, Thanks for the solve and feedback. In my school/college days, I used to like chemistry a lot. So thought of making a puzzle around it...
