Diagonal Chaos Construction

- Standard chaos construction sudoku rules apply: Each row, column and region contains the digits 1-9. Regions are comprised of 9 orthogonally connected cells and must be determined.
- Digits along each of the marked diagonals must not repeat, and every cell must belong to a different region.
- A digit in a clued cell indicates the number of cells seen in the indicated direction (including itself). Region borders block vision.

Impressive minimalism ! Enjoying the region building part a lot, and the irregular sudoku was surprisingly not that hard and had couple original moments. Thanks :)

More brilliant Paletron setting! I loved the region construction of this puzzle - it was very hard but was very satisfying to squeeze the life out of each clue and think about how they had to work. My only (mild) issue is that the irregular sudoku phase was extra hard and probably took more time overall for me than the region construction.

Since this version include that extra clue I suggested, I shall give it one star less for difficulty than the testing version. :)
