- Normal sudoku rules apply: Place the digits 1-9 once each in every row, column, and 3x3 box.
- XV: Digits separated by an X must sum to 10, and digits separated by a V must sum to 5. Not all X's or V's are necessarily given.
- Quadruples: The digits in a circle must appear in the four cells surrounding the circle.

That break-in was so subtle but when you do notice it, you have the whole thing on its knees. Brilliant!
